“Autism assistance”

Global site for assistance and mutual aid between autistic people, parents of autistic people, and other volunteers
This concept of concrete help for individual autistic people is complementary to Autistan.org, who deals with helping the cause of autism in general (especially with public authorities), and no individual cases ;
This support system project (by all means) is necessary since public agencies and others do not provide (or very little) the help needed by autistic people (and their families) ;
Like all our concepts, here it is autistic people who are at the center of the project.
But contrary to the concepts “Help”, here we are in the center but we do not direct everything. We want a real system of mutual aid and sharing based on the idea that everyone needs everyone., and that neither autistic people nor parents can reduce our difficulties by acting alone ;
One of the bases of this concept is the fact that every autistic person needs a personal support network.. It's obvious, but it rarely exists ;
Many things are possible, with emergency functions, identification cards and bracelets, etc.
This project can only produce results with the participation of a large number of people.
For the moment, we are only experimenting with some parts of the project.
To note : In order to have a single workspace, le concept “Autistance” also manages the production (not the management) of all projects for other concepts and sites (Help, and other sites “non-Autistic” not mentioned here, for example in France), thanks to the participation of all members of the various projects in a single “project manager”, currently still under construction).

“Improve Understanding, Cooperation and Justice between Humans, with Autistics”

General concept of improvement of society, based on collaboration between autistics and non-autistics, by placing autistic people at the center
Autistic Alliance is not an organization, nor a group, nor a network, but a kind of “conceptual laboratory” which aims to study and develop collaboration possibilities to help autistic people (thanks to a better understanding of autism by society) and to help society (since, when we understand autism, it becomes clear that autistic people can help correct the current social system, wrong).
This concept is very broad, world, and it deals with subjects which are not developed by other concepts.
For example :
- The Autistan Diplomatic Organization does not deal with “self-advocacy” “activist” at country level, because it is up to the national associations to do it, but Autistic Alliance can do this (globally), for example with participation in conferences ;
- Autistance provides assistance and practical mutual aid “on the ground”, for individual cases, but it cannot explore the various ways of collaborating globally, for example by looking for ways to help families organize themselves, thanks to the Internet, for education and adapted learning, what is the role of Autistic Alliance.
Autistic Alliance can denounce actions or situations harmful to autistic people, bad approaches to autism, misuse of financial resources etc., and can help national autism organizations to be heard internationally (For example, at the United Nations).
Autistic Alliance is also a “space” dedicated to reflection and consultation between autistic activists or thinkers, globally, internally (non-public), by allowing total freedom and independence to participants, which allows us to improve other concepts (as “Help”) thanks to the sharing of information and opinions, knowing the latest details and issues regarding the cause (For example, in matters of politics, research, of national social situations regarding autistic people, etc.)
Since it is a concept of study and work “internal”, necessarily confidential, the AutisticAlliance.org site only presents a few articles, videos and conference reports.
